“Peace Peace Family!  Thank you to the thousands and thousands of neighbors, visitors, and the tour groups from all over the world that have expressed how this mural has touched their souls.  Today, I want to share an exciting vision that will take this mural to new heights and ignite your imagination.

By drawing from a timeless constellation of genius innovators who manifested their greatness while living in Harlem, the mural combines the collective power of their creative genius into one impactful presence, capable of moving individuals and groups in that same community to deeper realization of their own potential for greatness.

But before I dive into this vision my friends, from the very beginning, I made a conscious decision to self-finance Planet Harlem. I am open to new financial and sponsorship opportunities that respect Planet Harlem’s integrity and purpose.  In the past I turned down financial opportunities that would have altered the message and diluted the pure power that Planet Harlem offers to the Harlem community and its many global visitors.  It was a sacrifice I willingly made because maintaining the mural's integrity is of utmost importance to me.
